I don’t think Trump’s foreign policy was the complete disaster Democrats made it out to be. Not like the rest of the things he did/didn't do.

 

Trump's foreign policy was basically the same as much of his other policy - if there was something Obama was doing, he did the opposite. If he got this part right it was by accident, not planning and shrewd diplomacy.

 

I'll be long dead and it won't concern me in the slightest.

 

We know what they would have done to Mike Pence or Nancy Pelosi on Jan. 6 had they caught them, so I'd say less than 50 years if these assholes get any kind of power.

 

Trump's foreign policy was a random event generator, rooted in no over arching goals or strategy.

The saving grace was our allies who recognized the transient nature of the American executive branch as well as the inertia of American bureaucracy.

tl;dr: "If we just wait out the idiot, America will come to its senses in a few years."

Had our Allies actually taken Trump's "threats" and "promises" seriously, we'd have suffered irreputable harm.

I think Trump’s idiocy actually worked with North Korea, too. He Mr. Magoo’d his way into it, though.

Worked how? Literally nothing has changed with North Korea.

They tested; Trump blustered; NK said "OK we'll talk," and then instead of trying to negotiate anything substantial, Trump's advisors spent months trying to prevent the President from just agreeing to whatever NK asked for so Trump could say "we made a deal!"

 

Until looking it up just now, I had no idea that fucker was only 42 - I would have thought he was in his 60s. His last election, he won Florida by 33,000 votes. According to Newsweek, his approval rating is around 43 percent in his home state right now. All of these Trump Lite guys are going to get stomped in any national election.

 

Yes, but they fell in love and no one can ever take that away and they wrote beautiful letters amirite?
