The revelations that DeathSantis and Abbott are both beneficiaries of the drug industrial complex have now helped me understand why Trumpists are such big fans of COVID and want to see it grow. I thought their motivation was to ruin the country simply by policy. Hurting the libruhls would drive votes by itself. Now we learn the fuller picture: Spreading COVID and discouraging the vaccine drives people to consume the drugs owned by their klansmen/donors. So that leads to further donations, which lead to war chests that survive beyond a single electoral cycle.

All of a sudden across the intertoobs, referring to Marjorie Taylor Greene as a "heifer" qualifies as the most scurrilous reprehensible epithet ever hurled into cyberspace.

 

He looks like most Tennessee politicians I remember seeing on TV in the 80s, minus the guys in DOJ windbreakers leading him off for skimming from a pill mill or illegal bingo hall or some such.
