We began watching “Letterkenney,” a fairly odd show on Hulu about an even more odd small town in Canada, as part of our family TV time at the request of our son, who is home until college starts up again.

It’s funny and well written, especially the slang and wordplay. But my wife reached her limit when they used baked goods to illustrate the differences between vaginal and anal sex and later quizzed each other about whether it would be better to have a permanent mouthful of piss or glob of poop lodged in a nostril, then continued the game with whether they’d prefer a vagina as a mouth or a penis for a nose all in the same episode, in addition to the main storyline. So now, I guess it’s reruns of Ted Lasso or classic movies for family TV night.

Finally got to "Dead to Me." It hits every note for me. Slammed through the first season.

Hopefully that doesn’t somehow spoil an episode I have not watched.

Unlikely. I think it was Mexican American Night at the Ravine.

It's from the sequel where a futbol player in Europe is signed by an American baseball team in a reverse Ted Lasso.

Wife tried to show me the first episode. I figured out really quickly this is going to be a humor her show. I agree with looking at Alexandra Daddario being the best thing about the show. Episode 1 was slow, I don't care about Steve Zahn's balls, the dialogue is a freaking slog, how the fuck did the girls get drugs through TSA without even trying to hide them?, no one has chemistry (so far). Just don't care.

    Fuckin’ pheasant!

I liked Letterkenny, but it got tired after a while. They really did a great job first few seasons.

Brand New Cherry Flavor: halfway into this trippy, Lynchian horror/comedy/mystery. Like it so far.

Great cast (Rosa Salazar, the hugely underrated Catherine Keener, Jason Mendoza from the Good Place).

The music of board favorite Phil Collins is slyly intertwined throughout.
