'The Real World' made 'Julie from Alabama' a star. The spotlight wasn't what she hoped

 

Admiring Julie was one of the main reasons to watch that season.

 

I didn't know who Puck was until this thread. Then I wasted 30 seconds of my life looking him up. Sadly, it probably won't be the only 30 seconds I waste today. Sigh.

 

It only took 20 years for this country to go from uniting against the terrorists after 9/11 to likely a large swath celebrating if NYC were to be struck again.

 

The Portland thing yesterday is a sad preview of life in the United States of America.

Reading Pedro and Me would take a bit longer, but it is a much better use of your time. I just finished it. I really should have made the time years ago.

 

Julie was the star of that misbegotten show.

The very earliest of reminders that normal and balanced people should not be on these programs.
