We are watching the new season of Five Bedrooms on Peacock. Perfectly pleasant comedy

Probably recency bias, but I think the rom com episode of Ted Lasso is the best of the series so far.

Clearly, the Ted Lasso writers room are huuuuuuge Nora Ephron fans. A lot of When Harry Met Sally, You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle references the last two weeks. (Also, Sassy's daughter is named Nora.)

As for Rebecca's mystery man (LDN152 - clear YGM reference - Tom Hanks' handle was NY152) I hope against hope it's not Ted. I think they want us to believe it's Ted with the quick cuts to him looking at his phone. I'll be mad if it's Rupert, because I hate that guy.

4 episodes into Mr. Corman with Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Arturo Castro is in it. I don't remember ever seeing him in anything. He's excellent. He just got an entire episode -- titled "Mr. Morales" -- to fill in his character. It's as good an episode as I have seen.

Just finished "The Chair" on Netflix. Captured a lot of university b.s. accurately, and Sandra Oh is exceptional.

So what do you think about the kid in the video?

I hope someone can tell me that it's all the magic of tv and they really are fooling me and none of these kids are in distress. Has anyone ever wondered about this? Is it all fake and I am just making a big deal about something that is not actually happening?

I think the kid is crying in the video but it's part of the special effects. Great song and video.

It's a kid who looks like he's crying in the video. I would like to know how they made the video with him crying mixed in with any special effects.

I don't think they were subjecting him to all of those bizarre images and zombies etc.

    Nine Perfect Strangers on Hulu.

Sort of undecided on it, but…

Good Lord, Michael Shannon is really good at what he does.

Saw a tweet about an 11th season for Curb Your Enthusiasm. Didn't know they went beyond the 8th or 9th year.

Just paid for the first episode of season 10. I can't do anymore. A once in a generation show became super contrived and silly.
