    Actually, comedy would be a military totally screwing up leaving a country. They literally had 20 years to figure this out.

    I’m in hysterics thinking about the Moe, Larry and Curly quality of work they have been doing there for the past 20 years.

    My daughter's high school went back to masks today after starting the year without; so many kids had been sent home due to contact tracing that the threshold for shutting down the whole shebang and going virtual was approaching fast. Of course, it was a total shitshow. There were adults protesting at the school this morning, videotaping masked kids and yelling "child abuse." Students who refused to wear masks were sent home, and others who mouthed off to teachers were given in-school suspensions.

    Sister in law sends daughter to catholic school. They don't want her to participate in the religious part of the curriculum (that is allowed).
    Kids that didn't participate, not many at all, were of course separated from where it was being taught. Turns out it was a pretty negative experience for her because of the separation and feeling like a bit of an outcast. Not a tragedy, not a huge deal in the long run for her. But in doing that, they were trying to prevent something that would have had very little importance in the long run and making it tougher on the kid in the short term.

    Hope that is not confusing.

    I think of it often when I see these parents and wonder how many of their kids just want to tell them to stfu. This is all being done very loudly, lots of attention drawn to the kids because of the parents while all along, the kids would have no problem complying.
