Once I realized all these reboots were aimed mainly at reigniting streaming of older episodes on various media platforms than because the principles had "more story to tell" I began to lose interest. Waiting for the Entourage reboot, where Vincent Chase has pretty much become what Val Kilmer is now, Drama is getting buzz for a supporting role in a Tarantino movie before getting "MeTooed" and "Cancelled" and Eric and Turtle are back in NY operating a ticket reselling service. Ari is doing five years in Lompoc for financial fraud.

Curb is crap after Season 4. Even that season wasn't great. After, there were good episodes here and there, but mostly garbage overall.

Ted Lasso getting into the emotional meat and potatoes.

Finally, more football in Ted Lasso. This ep was SO GOOD but holy crap, that ending!

(Also, hands down one of my favorite moments of the whole series - the guys getting very angry at GBBO on the TV in the bar. "Temper the chocolate, you twat!")

I'm still not feeling it with Lasso.

A few funny references early in this episode but overall, again, it was stilted and disjointed and the whole leaving the game in crunch time felt contrived.

The writers are stuck between Mike Score's haircut in the video for I Ran and the desperate beats of the Icicle Works song Whisper to a Scream.

That's an intentionally bad Lassonian analogy, which makes no sense either, and that's what watching this season feels like.

In two episodes in to Nine Perfect Strangers. it's gonna decent cast so I'll push on, but it's not exactly compelling so far.
