Progressives didn’t sink the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013. And you very well know that. You’re just playing a really shitty version of the Socratic method.

    I’d probably agree with that.

But we aren’t now where we were then, when Obama was deporting a lot of people - something I couldn’t imagine much of this board approving of.

The left has moved hard left, and fast. The right did too. Which, again, I can live with. What I don’t like - and can’t imagine you do - is whatever this non-system we have now is, where border security is a joke and the Texas Governor is cynically using that porous border as a scapegoat on COVID. It’s a plague-on-both-houses kind of deal.

It’s how I’ve lived the whole pandemic. Masked everywhere I was told, vaccinated too. Booster later this year as scheduled.

The neighbor part of Luther’s writing would definitely not be cool in NZ or Australia tho.

How should Christianity intersect with politics in America? Do you think it’s intersected we’ll up until now?

NYC to mandate vaccines for all public school teachers and staff

I'm not sure if this was already posted, but New York City schools will require all employees to get vaccinated. No choice of regular testing, which is what had been in place. I'm not sure if they are allowing for medical exemptions, but otherwise, I have zero problem with this now that Pfizer has full FDA approval.

On the state level, New York is going with a choice of vaccination or regular testing. New Jersey is doing the same thing. New York's new governor announced there will be a universal mask mandate for everyone who steps foot in schools.

The reaction from some of the banned would have been really funny, to see them cry about masks violating the rights of some people while praising the infringement on the rights of educators.

I don’t care who’s blaming who, where are the solutions? The ideas?

Life is about solutions, deals. The only reason people now get to postulate and play the blame game is because our ancestors created such opportunities. We are living on their hard work and we are about to give our children zilch.
