Wow! That must have been amazing!

Thinking more about the situation, it saddens me that those students are going to miss out on what the instructor had to teach them. Sometimes we figure out sooner or later that the price of admission to benefitting from someone else's life experience is behaving. School should be where we learn what we don't know. I was very guilty of overestimating the value of what I had to say and what I could do to the point that sometimes I couldn't get out of my own way. That was without the hindrance of the tribal lines that have been drawn over the past decade or so. I still knew enough to see what an opportunity it was to sit in a classroom led by Dr. Lamb. Would today's academia be able to offer the same wealth of experience to undergraduates? I had no idea what most of my teachers' political views were. The ones who made it part of their pedagogy were often the least interesting.

I remember someone telling me there's a major difference between the experience of college and the college experience. You can ace tests and be a great student, but a big part of going away to school is learning things outside of the classroom -- particularly how to learn from others and grow. Because the world is a whole lot bigger and more complicated than what your first 18 years taught you.

That's why I cringe when my brother tells me he's paying the same tuition for my niece to take "virtual classes" at UF instead of in person. She's missing a huge portion of the reason why you go there in the first place.

I'm sure the denizens of the Magnolia State will apply that theological principle to Bidensocialism.

The woman in the background keeps saying: “Where’s the damn police?”

If that guy had any brown in his skin the cops would’ve been there in less than 10 seconds and he would’ve been shot.

I'd make it at least 45-55 this fuck was an offduty cop and that's why no police came. Mark my words, no city government in country from Berkeley on down will have the guts to enforce a "vaccinate or you're fired" mandate on cops, but it'd be the best way to improve policing in this country ever invented.

“In guvmint, we don’t have to do anything to protect the lives of our citizens because they’re all Christians.”
    Fuck that.
You can still believe whatever you want, but are you really so eager to die that you’ll embrace politicians who don’t care if you do die needlessly?
This is why the Constitution says we’re not going to have an official state religion in this country. Even before the First Amendment, the founding fathers wrote that there will be no religious tests for public service in these United States.

I thought stay in your room and don’t go out to drink or screw was already the default setting for Liberty.

    Leviticus 13:45-46
    New International Version

45 “Anyone with such a defiling disease must wear torn clothes, let their hair be unkempt, cover the lower part of their face and cry out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’
46 As long as they have the disease they remain unclean. They must live alone; they must live outside the camp.

Masks and social distancing: They’re in the Bible.
