While I can understand people being fearful of the vaccine, I don't understand anti-maskers and especially those idiots taking worm dewormer. I mean, you won't take a well-researched vaccine that has been shown to be effective against COVID, with EXTREMELY limited side effects but will take horse drugs based on a faulty research paper that has already been discredited because some idiot on the internet said it was a good idea? And now a judge in Ohio has ordered a hospital to give it a guy on a ventilator? Absolute madness.

If Fox News tells them to take it to own the libruhls, they’ll do it.
But remember: The real evil is when people get jobs in sports because they have “the right Twitter opinions.”

    It really is.

I couldn't believe that second-to-last line in your post because I hadn't seen or heard about it, so I went looking for it.

Here's the link to a story on it, just for reference. (I don't if anything has already been posted here).

Ohio judge orders COVID patient be treated with ivermectin

I guess the judge just did what the patient and his wife/family probably wanted. But if I were that patient's wife, I think I'd be suing to get the actual vaccine -- not the horse de-wormer! Oh, wait, they wouldn't have to sue to get real, actual care for his condition...

If I were the doctors, I think this might be my line in the sand, and I might try to stand up to that court order, invoking the Hippocratic oath and refusing to treat with ivermectin.

They’d have a better chance in fighting it if they claim they have a sincerely-held religious or conscience belief that giving the drug is wrong. Since, after all, we’re told it’s OK to deny services if religion or one’s conscience is the reason.

Interesting statistic from the University of Alabama’s athletics director.

Just a friendly reminder on Page 1918 that the first confirmed case of the "Spanish flu" was in Kansas that year. Around 675,000 Americans died from it. History is repeating itself.

Yeah but there are a lot more Americans these days than in 1918 so quit your scare-mongering, you free-dom hating libruhl!

Take ivermectin plus hydroxychloroquine and chase it with a Tide pod, and you'll be invincible.

As a % of the population, that’s likely to be worse than COVID. Although at the rate we’re not stopping this one, I suppose it’s too soon to tell.
