    It's too bad these members of Congress didn't have a position for which they could have sought some accountability for what was going on in Afghanistan for the last 20 years.

    Has anyone read or seen an article outline the "proper" way to abandon a war with a minimum of chaos and uncertainty? Even NPR sounds like they are rooting for a Round Two with the Taliban in their coverage. I get it. A lot of people bought bigger homes over the last 20 years via the war, but dang - it's like the news media was caught napping on the draw down and is looking to deflect from that. 99 percent of Americans voted for a candidate who promised to leave Afghanistan THIS year. It's September. I guess the big shock is how quickly the Afghan government folded?
