My mom stopped working for United Technologies a year before 9/11.

I used to joke with her that we could've at least scooped up some blood money stock options before they outsourced her factory job to Mexico.

 

I feel terrible for the families of the 13 service members killed during the Afghanistan airlift, And as tough as it is to be among the last to die in a war, I do hope they do take some solace in knowing the gift of freedom their loved ones gave to more than 100,000 Afghans with their service. And yeah, they've earned the right to yell at this President, any President for their loss. Bgoth Ds and Rs trot out grieving families to score political points when it suits their purposes. Nothing really new about it.

There sure are a lot of reclamation projects in the media of late.

 

He is literally the most empathetic politician I have ever seen, who cries at the drop of a hat. Shame on this woman for using the death of her son to spread lies like this.

 

What’s Louisiana supposed to do with the $85 billion in military equipment? Launch bazookas at the Superdome?

 

How do we know she’s lying? Nobody in that room was having anything close to their best day and the slightest gestures of any sort could easily be taken as something entirely different than intended.

 

Let’s not forget that many in this same media also were quite happy to cheerlead the invasion of Iraq because they were going to get to be embedded with that troops. “Oh goody, we get to go cover A WAR!!!”
