I have a great deal of affection for batshit crazy. The OA was intriguing at first, but then it wandered off into Saving Grace territory where the girl can't help it if everyone falls in love with her within five minutes because she is just the truest, most pure form of spiritual feeeemale perfection. Maybe they needed to cast Leon Rippy as Hap's crusty lab assistant so he could grumble, "Git over yerself." at Marling.

I'm not the best audience for The Handmaid's Tale, either. Would it help if I admit to nodding when people in the viewing party yell, "No, June. It's because they are sick of your shit!" at their screens?

The first season of Housebroken just ended on Fox. It's an animated show where animals speak and it's centered around a therapy group led by a poodle voiced by Lisa Kudrow. I liked it more than I thought I would. There are some great one liners.

Hulu has been running an outstanding National Geographic 9/11 docuseries, six parts with footage I'd certainly never seen before. Final part was released overnight, so I'll catch it today at some point. Obviously a tough watch, but the storytelling is outstanding and I've learned things I didn't know before.

In this week's Lasso there's a heavy dose of bite and edge and Dan Brown and Carrie Bradshaw.

Juno Temple is in high demand.

She and Roy played a big part of this week's Ted Lasso.

She also played in every scene as Joseph Gordon-Levitt's ex-fiancee in this week's Mr. Corman.

Listening to her try to pull off an American chick accent is adorable.

She is damn sexy on "Ted Lasso." When I saw her in "Dirty John" I didn't even know she was British.

She also had a prominent role in the promising but short-lived HBO show "Vinyl."

Was wondering how Brooklyn 99 would handle things post George Floyd and they've done a really good job being funny and pretty much making police unions "the heavy." Can't believe there are just two eps left.

Programming alert: The History Channel is actually showing some history-related programming on Sunday. A Band of Brothers marathon begins at 9:30 a.m. EST.
It's 20 years old, and that miniseries never gets old. Just reread the book and am a third of the way through Dick Winters' autobiography -- which is like DVD commentary for the book -- for the third time.

AP Bio (Peacock) is in its 4th season. It's so absurd.
