Susan Collins may be the dumbest person elected to office in America to believe the sociopath Gorsuck and the drunken rapist Kavanaugh, or the 2nd biggest liar in American politics.
And while I certainly wouldn’t say out loud I hope she dies soon, I can say that when she does, I hope it’s painful.

This approach isn't working. I can agree with the sentiment eight days a week. But it's not working. Not, at least, if the purpose is to convince people to get the vaccine. If the purpose is to dunk on DeSantis, I'm not sure it's working, either.

We had one of those neighbors who everyone was glad to see the back end of their moving van when they bought that house with the deeeluxe deck on the lake. They had two kids who were fairly rotten. Not the kids' fault. Mama taught the girl to be a manipulative screamer who would throw herself on the ground and cry like Pavlov's psychotic little debutante at the utterance of the word, "No" and scratch and bite if histrionics didn't work. The slightly older boy was the neighborhood terror who rode his dirtbike through neighbors' foliage and left no pet or personal item unmolested if it was foolishly left within reach. Mama thought all of this was cute and instead of reining him in as she was asked by neighbors, she bought him a bike helmet with a mohawk.

I thought of her when the QAnonShaman's mother demanded his jailers give him organic food.

Trump is the GOP's adorable rotter. I don't think they expected him to treat the party as his own piggy bank and plaything, but there you go. Now that he's dug himself in like a tick, removal is going to be hard and painful and there will be some collateral professional damage just like the area around the tick can get injured and leave some hurt when doc or the local guy at the feed mill or the herb lady in the holler get that bitey little guy out.
