I'm eager to see his new submission move he calls "The Lockdown."
He just tells you to sit in the corner and wait for the match to be over, but it's incredibly devastating.

With you on Omega. I am a fan but this shit with Don Callis and these other guys seems like a waste of time to me, I can't get into it at all. Although Brandon Cutler's constantly shit on flunky role is amusing.

His big heel move is that he constantly changes the rules in the middle of the match.

So now, rumors are that Kevin Owens' contract is apparently up in January, and this...

The other great thing about that line is that they had teased a Hogan heel turn months earlier. He had even worn black after Sullivan and Co. shaved off his goatee.

It seems like one of those throwaway lines where Heenan’s just asking the question and we all figure Hogan’s going to be the good guy to save WCW. Turned out, he wasn’t.

I’ve also thought how wussy it made WCW look when they had three of their top guys needing to get saved by a beat down from two guys.

He’s taking a lot of heat from the E’a fanboys, but he’s right. If you want money, go to the E. If you want creativity and fun, go to AEW.

i disagree with him entirely. Just because some performers won’t aspire to WWE does not mean none will.

Performerers having two places to aspire too again is a good thing for the wrestling business at large.

I’d describe it as pro soccer. All football players aspire to the NFL, right, there’s only one NFL. All soccer players don’t…. Some may aspire to the EPL, the Spanish League, France, Bundes…. Depending on their upbringing or style. Doesn’t mean one is better or worse than another.

I wonder how much longer WWE will have the money advantage, too? They seem to be cutting costs in a lot of areas in addition to talent. There were reports circulating this week that they're cutting back on things like camera crews and catering, and they just shuttered their Japanese division.
One of WWE's most underrated advantages over other promotions are its production values. It knows how to put on a show. When you start trimming the budget for those little things it'll start to show up eventually.

To me, some of that is probably just them tampering down their expectations a bit. Like, if you're not going to run the WWE Network as a worldwide entity and beast in need of original programming all the time, then you don't need an absolutely mammoth talent and production roster. If you're not making money with 205 Live or NXT Japan or whatever, go ahead and shutter it.

That being said, man, the main roster feels stale, and I'm not really optimistic about the proposed changes to NXT. When WCW had its problems, it still had months of being competitive with Raw and still making money, even though the product was pretty rancid. It didn't realize it was spiraling until it was too late. I think WWE still has too much talent and legitimate draws for that to ever happen, but AEW seems more and more like a Pepsi to their Coke than some kind of also-ran.
