I don't understand why a 80-year-old Vietnam veteran is obsessed with communism like this is 1950s New York and why he insists anyone who didn't serve (such as Biden) is a draft dodger), why he believes all the wingnut cliches like they're true., etc.

Hat Guy comes across as a WC Fields cosplayer with all the misanthropy and none of the charm. I’m frankly amazed he didn’t go whole hog and put on a Tucker Carlson bow tie to complete the ensemble. The only way he could signal any louder that he was a complete asshole would be to have it printed on the brim of his stupid hat.

Ha. If I ever heard about Hitchens' claims then, I've completely forgotten.

Hermes is right. That wreaks of someone a world away trying to read between lines on a report where there's nothing between the lines. Concord Township is an extremely rural township outside of Troy. Very small population (because everyone lives in the city limits of Troy, one of the nicest small cities you'll come across). That type of turnout is indeed typical any year. Who lives there? Old, white people. They're Republican. You bet your ass 95 percent showed up to vote for Bush when the medal-throwing Kerry was threatening to allow the terrorists to win.

I'm sure the "19,000 additional votes," was a reporting error or something else innocuous. There's no way the papers in that county, nor the Dayton media one county to the south, wouldn't have been on top of it during that time. (Today? Well, they probably could create 19,000 ballots out of thin air, and none

And Miami County isn't even *that* Ba'athist. Some of the counties to the north of there (including Neil Armstrong's home county)... well, I don't get off I-75 when driving through that part of Ohio if I can help it.

Show me prominent Democrats screaming that voter suppression kept Hillary from winning in 2016.

All we have heard from damn near every elected Republican since November is a parroting of Trump's claims.

To believe the two are equal is to be completely disconnected from reality.
