A significant percentage of those on food stamps and/or Medicaid are employed and so may well be subject to the vaccine/test mandate.

 

Why not just mandate it of every person receiving federal benefits tho? And every college student with federal student loan? Or every college receiving federal funding?

A general vaccine mandate is unworkable and potentially dangerous in its own right. The Trumpist refuseniks may start their own civil war.
So the work-around of tying it to employment is worth a shot.
I'd have no problem with the feds telling colleges, "So you don't want to force a vaccine on your students? OK. No more federal contracts for you. No more federal loans for your students. Good luck."

 

They’ve already attacked the Capitol, so the war is active. Maybe it’s time for us to lay down the law and, when necessary, declare them enemies of America, strip them of their citizenship and send the military after them.
