Figured it’s time to fire this thing up (RIP spnited).

Already got offered a trade. Josh Allen for Kyler Murray straight up. Thoughts?

    Josh Allen.

Sounds like the person making the offer is getting too caught up in today's games. I would rather have Allen.

This guy is a big “what have you done for me lately” guy. Honestly, I haven’t seen much of either QB. Generally, I think a QB who can scramble like Murray is more likely to suffer a catastrophic injury.

I’m curious what you guys like better about Allen. Their stats are pretty even, fantasy-wise.

I think the injury risk is similar with both, though Allen is a bigger guy, so maybe that will help him take the punishment. Allen runs quite a bit, often by design.

Allen threw for more yards and more touchdowns with fewer interceptions in 2020. Murray did more as a runner. I lean toward the better passer.

Unfortunately, my backup QB, Trevor Lawrence, has the same bye week as Allen. Hmmm. I guess I could stream a third QB that week.

Other concerns are that Allen has three potential foul weather games during the playoff weeks, with two at home and one at New England, while Murray has two road games in fair-weather cities and a home game. Murray has a slightly easier strength of schedule (22nd vs 27th), for whatever that’s worth.

There's nothing wrong with holding on to Murray. Sure, he brings some injury risk, but so does Allen given all the designed runs.

I would give an edge to Allen, but I think that offer was a knee-jerk reaction to his middling effort in the loss to the Steelers yesterday.

Tell him or her they’ll need to throw in something extra.

Then laugh your ass off if they actually do it.

It might be worth checking out their No. 2 quarterback. If it is someone comparable or better than what you have, pern, that avoids the problem of the same bye week.

Top RB waiver pickup this week: Eli Mitchell, Jamaal Williams or Mark Ingram?
