@Regan MacNeil made the excellent point that we are watching at different times and it makes viewing the TV Thread more fraught. So spoil away here, including @Songbird who posts the fastest thoughts ever!

Lol God forbid people post on the TV thread about TV shows.

I get it, but for reasons I didn't watch this week's Lasso until last night. And the TV thread is fun to discover new shows or which ones to avoid. At least with a new thread, you know spoilers are coming.

I think that Nate gets a head coaching chance and either Ted won’t let him go or tells him that he’s not ready, Nate goes full scorched earth and spills the beans on Ted’s panic attack, Beard on shrooms, etc. Trent tells Ted he’s going to print the story and Ted preemptively confesses the truth in a press conference.

It will include Manchester City and Jamie Tartt.

Season 1: Tartt goes from AFC Richmond to City and assists the goal that relegates AFC Richmond.

Season 2: Tartt goes back to AFC Richmond which makes a miracle run to FA Cup semis only to lose 5-0 to City after which true team trust is born with the Roy/Jamie moment.

Season 3: AFC Richmond vs. Manchester City something something.

Ted and Dr. Sharon fall in love.

Nate will betray everyone. (but I believe the actor has said he will redeem himself eventually)

Also I suggested a Ted Lasso thread before the start of S2, since so many of us are watching it, and it fell on deaf ears.

I think this is kind of a given, no?

But I suspect it won't end well. At least, not with them together.

I kinda wonder if the series as a whole ends with Ted's ex-wife wanting him back and him returning to the U.S. -- or him saying, "No, I like it here just fine."

She sells the team. Ted makes peace with himself and moves back to Kansas… Holy shit… the Wizard of Oz. Nate is the Cowardly Lion. Roy is the Tin Man. Jamie is the Scarecrow (kind of). Richmond is Oz where all of these characters cure their issues and move on in life.

Bantr makes Roy and Kelee enough money to buy the team and they get married.

The last few episodes of season 3 will be characters moving on to better places in their lives as their mental health issues are resolved.
