    I think the most interesting thing about the California recall is that Elder has so far received 2,495,000 votes. Kevin Falcouner, who was the mayor of San Diego and as a Republican who actually won elections in a Democratic city, won 452,000 votes and John Cox, who was the 2018 Republican candidate for governor, received 232,000. So I think it is safe to assume that "establishment R's" are toast.

    And they will be until the Trumpers start to lose. Though I doubt they'll ever lose "safe" areas/states - meaning they will only tighten their grip on the GOP since there will be fewer establishment Rs to object or offer another option. I figure it will also mean though that the Dems will drift more toward the Center and the right to pick up those disaffected Rs. Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, NC.
