DeJoy can only be fired by the Postal Board. There is a Republican majority on that board until mid-December. After that he'll be voted out. Until then it's just ignorance, whining, or performative outrage.

Now an indictment, they can drop one of those on him just any old time now and it would be fine by me.

She's unhinged, not tethered to reality in the slightest.

 

They couldn't even dislodge the Trump-appointed dingleberry to unlock the transition. That seemed like not such a big deal - until around 2 p.m. on Jan. 6.

That kicked a lot of this bullshit off. That was on Nov. 10.

She was still dithering two weeks later, with no action from anyone other than the proverbial sternly worded tweets and such.

 

I don't blame anybody for anything, either for their being poor, or for making me poorer, which they have not done. I don't even consider myself poor, like, at all. Nor am I poorer, just because of others, either.

I'm speaking of logistics that, yes, absolutely do, or will, have a straining impact on a lot of systems, and eventually, a lot of people. I don't pretend otherwise, and don't see how that can be argued, other than just to ignore it.

Maybe what we should be doing is working to help make other parts of the world as good and livable as others seem to think the U.S. is.

 

There's plenty of room here. We throw out millions of tons of food every year.

 

It isn't just about food, unfortunately. We certainly could find good/better uses for all the thrown-out food, though.
