Yeah, pretty weird defense to say that the director is lying, except for when he gets exonerated. And apparently, the director even said that Flair would expose himself, which Flair ignores.

For someone who's only pro wrestling match before last week was some podunk indie show, Bron Breakker has looked like a million bucks, and I think WWE is treating him as much.
