    What he said.

Logical ending because you can’t have Danielson (going to take me a while to get used to typing his name again) losing in his debut, and you cannot have Omega lose to hurt his momentum.

It’s not something to be used as a regular thing, but here it was the absolute right call. And it was a terrific storytelling match with a crazy NY crowd.

Shame on me for tuning out Justin Roberts!

It was 29:30 of amazing wrestling and 30 seconds of hot garbage. The wrestling was too good for that finish, if that was the plan they shooda dialed it back. Totally lost myself in the match and got blue ball’d. Still pissed

Sounds like you're hooked for the next time they meet. :) Mission accomplished.

Since it led off the show, almost no way it wasn't going the full 30 ... not for the way they hyped it for that special event. They wanted to make sure the rest of the show's timing didn't affect the match length. You can see they were speeding things up at the end as they cut Ruby's entrance short.

This is glorious. And MJF's mom sounds like a clone of Rachel Dratch's Boston girl on SNL.

Time for the weekly Ric Flair response to "Dark Side of the Ring." Glad someone at least took away Ric's shift key.

I thought it was telling they left in the part where Ric said “you’re not good enought to be on the show right now.”

Its the right now I latch on to. He wasn’t at that time. His demons were out of control, as we saw with his outbursts at live events and on Stern.

It sucks that the thinking at the time was to attack that kinda thing head on and not ignore, which in this case made Kanyons problems worse. It sucks that he didn’t get the help he needed. The whole story is just sad and depressing

Mom would be great in a feud against him. "He's a fucking idiot."

Haven’t seen the show yet, but Ric’s line about calling into guests hostile to “WWE” shows how toxic the environment was back then. Someone criticizes my employer, and I’m inclined either to agree with them or say nothing and let the employer respond themselves instead of being a kiss-ass.

I've noticed that Sunday is the Extreme Rules PPV, but they haven't announced any "extreme" stips for any of the matches like they usually do. What, are they going to have a stipulation-on-a-wheel going Sunday night?

I, for one, look forward to Balor vs. Reigns in a Coal Miner's Glove match.
