The first three look legit and then Walker Buehler looks like the FBI agent trying to infiltrate the biker gang.

60 games under the last 3 years to the first team to 100 wins this year. Your world series champion San Francisco Giants.

I mean, Giants haven’t locked up the division. Dodgers have two against the abysmal D’Backs, three against realty-slapping-them-in-the-face Padres and close with three against nothing to play for Brewers. There’s easy 6 to 7 wins there.

So don’t go crowning the G Men yet and ruin this for me, ya jerk :p

How bout them Red Birds. The only hope for them is they’re not gassed going into the playoffs making this run. But loving it for them.

Brewers who were looking at whether they could catch the NL West teams to clinch top seed in NL, now have to white knuckle it with their magic number at 2.

Cards number is four or five for the second wild card.

No matter what happens, this Cardinals run has been fun and exciting to watch. Getting that playoff feeling is why I watch. I’ve watched all season, which perhaps says something about me because they pretty much sucked until this late run.

Four believe. It was six this morning and Phils and Reds both won tonight so the twin bill knocked it down 2.

Meanwhile, Padres who seemed like a lock for the playoffs in June, can be eliminated tomorrow with a loss tonight, a loss tomorrow and a Cardinals win. Crazy how fortunes flip.

Friday in the AL East: With a win over Miami, Tampa Bay eliminated Toronto from the pennant race and reduced both Boston and New York’s magic number by one. The Yankees’ win over the Red Sox reduced Boston’s magic number again. With a win over Miami and another New York win over Boston, Tampa Bay could clinch the AL East on Saturday.

Eh. Never were going to catch the Giants/Dodgers at the pace those two were playing, and I’m not sure you wanted to. Brewers are better on the road and a NLDS matchup against the East champ is more appealing than whoever comes out of the wild card.

Not quite at white knuckling stage with that magic number and 8 left. Just ran into a hot team this week. I suspect they’ll be popping champagne tomorrow night or Sunday.

    But seriously Cardinals …
