Cards with an insane double play involved Bader, and it wasn’t for a catch or throw home. Preserves Cardinals 5-4 lead into the 9th.

15 consecutive! Team record. Magic number 3 (if you can call being excited for the second wild-card magic).

Hey they have a real chance to advance. Any team that hot has to feel confident even against a 105 win team. If it’s against the Dodgers, they have to be licking their chops.

Hello again, AL East title. Once again, Yankees and Red Sox eating the dust of the Tampa Bay Rays.

And if they do it again next year, will they be celebrating in Montreal?

Well, that’s one way to piss away all the good will they’ve built up this season.

How on earth could anybody go to a Rays playoff game after hearing this? How would you feel if, for example, your spouse threw a birthday party for you but invited his or her lover and announced plans to split time between you and the paramour? Wouldn't be much of a celebration, would it?

Why not three cities? Four, five?

So now MLB is not extorting cities one at a time to build stadiums, now both Montreal and Tampa are supposed to cough up money for a new park?

The Ray-Expos will spend more time on carpet in 2022 than a Roomba.

It really makes no sense, other than, of course, MLB trying to extort two cities for stadiums.

If you’re a fan in Tampa, why would you want to go to a game when your team is going to move in the summer, every single year. For both cities, why would you build a stadium that you’re not going to use for a whole season. And if you’re a player on tbe team, you’re not going to want to uproot your family midway through the season every single year. Not that they get many free agents now, but why would anyone other than those who are desperate to save their career want to get in that situation.
