Bucs with a 15 yard punt…that wasn’t blocked nor caught. Don’t see that in professional football very often

In 1966,as a nine year old, I remember watching Al Nelson (I had to look up the guy's name) of the Eagles running a missed field back 100 yards against the Browns on a gray day at Franklin Field. Low Groza was the Cleveland kicker. He was 42 and had a physique at that point in his life like Andy Reid's. I remember Groza helplessly waving as Nelson sped by.

Ridiculous. Lions lose because of a BASIC officiating fuck up. The NFL will say "Whoops" and move on but the two teams records stand. The officials in charge of watching the play clock should get at least a week suspension. This simply can't be missed at that point in a game.

At some point things like this and sports betting will intersect and the lawsuit the NFL will face will be interesting.

Nuh-uh. Never a bet made on any sport without the written or unwritten and you'd better go along with it that officiating incompetence is part of the deal. Besides, all the counterparties of the bet, the winners, would sue right back.

The Raiders play dumb at times - you are up 8 with 2 minutes left. Why play soft defense? The worst that can happen is you give up an easy TD and conversion, but give your O some time left to do something. Glad they won, but they made some dumb coaching decisions.

Also - how much of the "Aaron Rodgers has mentally checked out" narrative is due to those State Farm ads?

Couipled in the wagering with "He's still mad San Francisco didn't draft him" and "He wants to replace Trebek."
