Week 3 NFL thread: Steamer Horning played in Toledo, not Cleveland

I'm not sure if the defense is decent or they just took advantage of Pittsburgh's disaster of an offensive line and Roethlisberger's decline.

The offense can be good if they can protect Burrow. I don't think they are going to get to face teams with front sevens gutted by injuries every week, but their skill position guys are very good.

 

Easy answer. Last January, Bucs defense was killing offenses. Today, they got humiliated.
PS: Pray for me. A week of Brady returns to Foxboro hype might just be too much for my delicate constitution.

 

I imagine all those Santa Clara boosters get heartburn when they see these aerial shots of San Francisco and the East Bay - but nothing of Santa Clara but the stadium. Does the Goodyear blimp still fly? You seem to see less and less of it these days.

 

Boy four minutes into the second quarter and I’m already wondering what else is on.

Isn't the stadium very close to the San Jose airport? Can't imagine all those Southwest jets having to dodge the blimp on final approach.

There is no aside from. They played Akron.

 

Doesn’t every team have the same B roll for its home broadcasts? A Seahawks game will have the fish toss at Pike Place Market. The Titans will have the neon signs of the Broadway honky tonks. Saints games are Bourbon Street or Jackson Square.

 

Final approach comes in over downtown San Jose to the south and because SFO final approach is just to the north starting at Alviso and going over the bay, take off I think has to peal off from Santa Clara. I think a blimp is fine there but they probably won’t bring in a blimp except for special occasions.

 

I bought four tires about 30 years ago and won a ride on the blimp. Gave it to a co-worker who used it for his little girl.
