A Wrestlecrap rabbit hole led me to this gem:

OK, so when did Shelton and Cedric rejoin the Hurt Business … and why?

Probably about 30 minutes ago when Vince finalized the 87th draft of the script like he usually does.

So one night after they had an "extreme" PPV with only one match with a stipulation (and one DQ), they have two extreme matches and counting already on free TV.

I’m just stunned they didn’t just do a six-man. It’s their usual go-to story to screw over the end of a title match.

Ricochet wrestling for the 24/7, and a DQ at that. Ugh.

Tonight … and probably because MVP is out of action, if this doesn’t end up being a swerve.

Glad to see Lashley/Goldberg II won't be for the belt.

Big E looks like a million bucks right now, and Drew should be a banger, though a fresh challenge would be nice. Guessing Drew will start heeling up for this.

In this case, Big E is the fresh challenger even though he's the champ. He's over and no one wants to see him lose the belt so soon, so there's still excitement in the chase even if the scenario is flipped for a while.

Even if the interim was a little weird, I like what they've done with Drew this year. He was starting to get a little too unbeatable, repetitive and stale as champ. I think cooling him off and putting him on the back burner for the summer will help him in the long run. Now, win or lose, he's ready to come back for a main event run with some excitement behind him.

If, two years ago, someone would have said the WWE championship picture would be revolving around Big E, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley, I'm not sure anyone would have believed it. It never ceases to amaze how WWE quietly ushers in new eras right under our noses.

AEW is in Brodie Lee's hometown of Rochester, and one of the mains is the fractured Dark Order and Orange Cassidy with Brodie Jr. vs. Hardy's stable.

Is this where the Dark Order animosity continues, only for Brodie Jr. to call out Uncle Bray?

6 matches advertised for a 2-hour show, all of which will go more than 3 minutes if not 10.

    How refreshing.
