Sagarin really needs to make "head-to-head" part of his computer's criteria.

At this point in the season, his "recent" column is more valuable than his pre-loaded ratings. At least that weights games played this season.

Tennessee Tech getting closer every day to it’s first OVC tournament title since 1967.

So now I'm seeing AFA and Colorado State possibly to the AAC? Nothing better than a Temple-AFA or CSU-East Carolina football game.

Seriously how can this possibly benefit AFA or CSU?

Lots of chatter out there today that Colorado State and Air Force are moving to the AAC. The American wanted Boise State and San Diego State but they said no. AAC still wants two more.

Also significant chatter about the Sun Belt picking up ODU, James Madison, and Marshall.

EDIT: Troy's already in the Sun Belt, dummy.

That makes no sense to me.

The only thing I can see is that Boise State and SDSU are locks to go to bigger conferences and so AFA and CSU jump ship before the MW sinks.

That said, if that isn't the case, this is just weird. The MW is probably stronger overall right now than the AAC with the Big 12 defections and there are still established rivalries, etc. Don't know if the exposure or potential exposure equals doing this, but maybe.

So this means JMU would follow the herd -- as well as the Herd -- in going to the FBS level?
