9-9 in LA after Dodgers hit three solo HRs in the 8th.

Dodgers were up 5-1 with Scherzer and fell behind 9-5.

*long unintelligible but possibly vulgar tirade directed at the Dodgers*

This is no disrespect to the Cardinals and the winning streak they just went on, but the Dodgers need to advance out of the wild card game just from a baseball karma standpoint

The two women on that Dodgers game on ESPN were a tough listen, to put it politely.

“Oh, here’s one more for Soto, maybe more a curiosity than a credential: Of the 178 major league hitters who have at least 400 plate appearances this year, guess how many walk more often than they strike out.
The answer is one: Juan Soto. Soto’s 139 walks to 87 strikeouts is good for a 1.60 ratio. Next best: Minnesota utility man Luis Arraez, whose walk-to-strikeout ratio is but 0.91. “ https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2021/09/29/juan-soto-national-league-mvp/

Remember K Rod in 2002 ( of course I do)? Giants finally have someone like that, remember this name, Camilo Doval, 100+ gas and wipeout slider from a sweet smooth 3/4 delivery. Never seen someone like that in a Giants uni in 50 yrs.

All games on Sunday start at the same time, right?

Let's hope the Giants lead is 1 just for the anal puckery of it all.
