    Seconded on all points.

The No. 1 priority is a shortstop.
The No. 2 priority is finding three rotation arms. Boyd may not even get an qualifying offer. Turnbull's out until 2023. Injuries have stalled Wentz and Faedo. Peralta, Urena and Alexander were great band-aids, but ...
The No. 3 priority is finding a catcher to eat at-bats until Dingler arrives. Rogers is out until 2023. Haase has too many holes in his swing for the everyday job. Garneau is just org. fodder.

For all the talk of chaos, Boston and New York find a way late and Seattle gags it away regardless.

Mariners stage a very nice exit for Seager. Pulled him with 1 out in the top of the 9th, let him come off the field to an ovation from a sold-out stadium. He was visibly crying. Players left the bench to hug him. When he got near the dugout, they pulled third base and presented it to him. Very emotional.
Because they were on the road, the Angels couldn't similarly recognize Kurt Suzuki, who will probably retire tomorrow. He caught more than 1,500 games.

Brutal. It looks like they will go into the playoffs without Muncy and Kershaw.

Dodgers are so deep though. Buehler, Scherzer, Urias can shut anyone down and Seager and Betts can lead that offense to cover up any pitching faults. I’m really hoping the Cardinals can pull the upset because a short series against LA scares me.

Not certain but that may have been Judge's first walk-off winning hit.

    (Hate that term.)

Cool to see that … watching the replay, it almost got a little dusty in here. Seager’s a class act.

The loss of Muncy does seem like a bigger deal than Kershaw, who really is their fourth-best starter right now.

Red Sox-Yankess and Dodgers-Cards in the WCs - boy, those matchups don't have much post-season history, huh. I just wish they would play both games in the late afternoon - the shadows always make a big game seem that much bigger.

Most painful experience of my sports-mad youth and there's not even a second place.
