No, maybe not anything. But that's what they're doing in this case.

Vast majority? Tetanus, flu, HPV, shingles. Hard to believe a supermajority of the adult population has never, ever gotten any of the above.

I think you mis-read mine, which was in response to a comment about a question on the WSU exemption form which was, in essence, "if you've ever had an FDA approved vaccine, what makes this one so special?" Someone said that's gonna trip a lot of people up, and I (and @BTExpress ) disagreed. I would assume that the vast, vast majority of people seeking exemptions from the COVID-19 vaccine have taken PLENTY of FDA-approved vaccines over their lifetimes, but the vast, vast majority of those were administered at their parents' behest. My 27YO daughter has had a helluva lotta vaccines to this point ... it's going to take her a long time for the majority of the vaccines she's received to have been done so on her authority, not mine.

Probably not. I could be overestimating the virulence of their opposition.

And “The vaccine is the Mark of the Beast” guy hasn’t been to work in four days, so I’m wondering if he didn't get fired or got Covid.

Yes. The deadline has been posted in the factory. We’ve had giant posters urging everyone to get vaccinated. I have no idea what’s going to happen when that deadline hits.

Hyper-Trumpist moron Alabama Attny. Gen. wants to run for Governor so bad it's killing him, but it's too soon. Bad timing.

    https://www.wtvy.com/2021/10/12/ala...updates-state-law-regarding-vaccine-mandates/

"Marshall said the Biden administration will attempt to implement the private-employer mandate via an emergency rule from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Again, the Attorney General said he is preparing to challenge this regulation as soon as it is published.

In Alabama, Act 2021-493, enacted in May of this year, dictates that no government, school, or business in Alabama may demand that a constituent, student, or customer be vaccinated for COVID-19 or show proof of his or her vaccination for COVID-19. You can read more about this law here.

Attorney General Marshall is now asking the Alabama Legislature to consider two updates to state law as soon as practicable:

    • Act 2021-493 should include an enforcement provision and a private right of action to better deter violations of the law.
    • Private employers seeking to mandate the COVID-19 vaccination for employees should be required to provide exceptions for religious or medical reasons, including natural immunity."

So basically his position is that government shouldn't be able to mandate that companies require vaccinations, but that the state should be able to forbid companies from requiring vaccinations.

Got mine Saturday and my arm still hurts a little, especially if I touch the area. Might also be because I got the flu shot at the same time (went in for the booster and they asked if I wanted a flu shot too, so got a two-for-one). Needed Ibuprofen the next day for side effects but it wasn’t as bad as the second shot.

Curious if you had a bad time after your second. I’m wondering if the third round is less sever.

My wife's Moderna booster laid her out for two days. She's immunocompromised, though.

Did you get them both in the same arms or separate arms?

I hope every public official who will not let businesses enact mandates suffers the worst survivable case of COVID. I wonder how they’ll feel if they spend a few days on a ventilator.
