They’re turning everything political. Jon Gruden. Airline delays. Supply chain issues. Inflation. They’ve all turned into Rush callers. I don’t remember anything like this.

It's all they've got. They have nothing to offer in the way of governing and they have no intention of offering anything, so just bounce from one piece of nonsense to the other and pray it somehow pays off in the next election cycle. If it doesn't just keep doing it until it does.

It’s also where the Dems should be mocking tbem.

“Oh, is this your latest outrage? Are we done talking about Critical Race Theory and the transgender high schooler who won the 100-meter dash? How’s Jade Helm doing these days?”

We went through four years of people on the left screaming "Trump is not my president!" so this doesn't bother me. Just par for the political course now.

The difference, though, is Hillary won the popular vote by 3 million. Yes, it’s the system we have, but there’s still a justifiable reason for feeling ripped off when your candidate gets more votes and is still considered the loser.

Trumpists have no excuses, besides their bullshit conspiracy theories.

Not mocking but on board with messaging: The Republicans are not a serious party. They are not serious about governing. They are not serious about solving real problems. Their outrage is not serious. "Not serious ... not serious ... not serious," should be a constant drumbeat. Then they can support it by pointing out CRT and mask mandates and other others you mentioned above, as well as how they're the party without a platform -- literally, there wasn't one at their convention, which wasn't a convention at all, just a coronation for Trump at the White House. And on and on and on. They. Are. Not. Serious.

There were freedom fries and wails about tan suits and crisis actors of all kinds for all things.

The right has had a galaxy brain for years.

It would have helped if Trump at least pretended to give a shit about anyone who didn't vote for him.

On one level, I get it. People wanted a businessman to run the country like a business. Well, what obligation does the CEO of GM have to anyone who doesn't drive a GM car?
