Wife and I both had sore shoulders after getting the Pfizer booster. I don't recall that for either of the first two shots. Everything is fine now.

I managed to get a good night's sleep and am back at work today (remotely), and the boy's fever is gone. Poor kid did school work all morning. I think he thought he was getting two weeks off.

Hopefully that's the end of the symptoms. Now we just sit and wait out quarantine. .... and we're two-thirds of the way through Fellowship of the Ring. Guess we'll finish that one off tonight.

All it took was one miserable three-week flu in 2014 to convince me to get the shot every year. Never want to experience that again. Remains the only time in my life that I've missed work due to illness. Doctors orders.

That county should dare them to enforce it. Take em to court and see how how much money the state gets then.

I was going to ask, too. Don't think it's been approved yet.

Doctor told me to wait a couple of weeks before getting the flu shot when I visited last month. I'm in that window now so will check at our pharmacy.

I just had a Facebook friend post a picture of him getting a Moderna booster. But I don’t see where it’s been approved. Maybe some are giving it out.

Yes. She got one very shortly after boosters were approved. She's over 65 and badly immunoimpaired, so she qualified for a booster. For a day and a half to two days afterward she was sick as hell, basically with Covid symptoms scaled down a bit. I took it as good news, that her immune system responded strongly when there was another exposure.

As of a day or two ago, FDA says that Moderna is strong enough that they are not calling a Moderna booster necessary. Just looked it up.

With the current paperwork system, you can basically lie that it's your first shot, when in actuality you could be riddled with more holes than Bonnie.

I only wish more folks were going that route. I kind of doubt that this's the way it's going.
