    Not shocking. My favorite part is "at parents' urging." This is part of why these things happen: because the perpetrators know they can get away with it. The bastardized form of Christianity they espouse essentially says men can do anything they want because the Bible deems them superior and women subservient. The victim's parents are essentially blaming their daughter-victim. They certainly aren't supporting her. Of course they don't. Their Bible tells them girls don't matter. At least that's what they are told they must believe.
    They are also told they must worship Trump. And so they do.
