Tarleton State just moved to FCS. They're not eligible for those playoffs until 2024. But they'd be a great addition to an FBS league. Sure. I know the reformation won't happen until at least 2023, but still ....

When C-USA gets to Tarkio State, we'll know it's the end of the world as we know it.

Why is no one looking at Winona State?

That's because C-USA's so-called leadership sat on their collective thumb until every ship had sailed before making any move to shore things up.

Man if I'm UTEP I'm doing everything possible to get into the MWC as the 12th full-time member. Hawaii as a football-affiliate only adds absolutely nothing. They say they have to keep Hawaii because everyone recruits there and kids want a chance to come home to play. But the trip there costs a lot, isn't worth the 13th game, and if the MWC ditches Hawaii, it has to go independent and the program essentially dies and even more kids will come to the Mainland.

Yeah, I don't have the heart to even look at a UTEP message board. I've ridden out having my school left behind twice, and there is nothing fun about any of it.
