Half dose. Asked why just a half but they had no answer.

 

This is why. Read about it but forgot.

First 2 Moderna doses had much more juice than Pfizer doses did.

OK great. My local Rite Aid was offering moderna “boosters” but they were full dose so I left. I think the official boosters just started showing up in the last day or two.

 

The folks at my open clinic were measuring half doses on the spot.

 

My wife and I have appointments for Moderna #3 at the Rite Aid down the street from us Monday morning. While making the appointments for the first shots back in February was an absolute shit storm, this was a breeze. There were something like 17 appointment times available at that store on Monday.

 

My wife and I are getting Moderna boosters tomorrow after being J&J recipients.

Felt like we got ignored for months as J&J people, so happy to get a Moderna dose in me.

 

I wonder if that may be part of the reason that mixing and matching of the brands is apparently OK. The percentages/doses work out for optimal protection that way.

 

I technically can't get the booster until December, actually haven't seen if it is open to all yet here, although I have seen some stuff that says its good after six months. Also seeing things that says mixing and matching the types is more beneficial than getting the same one you got originally. Maybe I should just go get one. My wife says they didn't check one way or the other on time or anything else when she got hers.
