President Biden: The NEW one and only politics thread

If you think the Democrats would, from the office of the presidency, plan and execute and attempted violent coup of the American government, you really have not been paying attention to what's going on within the two parties. You just haven't.

 

Since the Democrats can't get it together to execute their preferred policies through normal Constitutional channels, why would anyone think they could possibly plan and execute clandestine illegal actions even if they wanted to, which they don't?

 

When you’re trying to be inclusive and consider everybody’s goals, it’s a real task to keep everybody on point and on message. When your only agenda is cruelty and stupidity, it’s so much easier to find common ground. Maybe that’s why the Dems appear to be struggling.

 

I'm not expressing opposition to how the Democrats operate, just that it's hard to imagine a party that's tolerating the antics of the likes of Sinema doing much coup plotting. It's not in their natures, let alone political inclinations.

 

Time to go Old Testament on a shitload of politicians — on both sides. Obstructionist Democrats, that means you, too. Fucking sick of them all.

Assumes facts not in evidence. Trump doesn’t pay legal fees. When you’re the lord and savior, you don’t have to pay.

 

That really is the best hope for the salvation of democracy. When you have elected officials at the national level literally saying, “Democracy is overrated,” you have an existential crisis.

 

The problem is I sense people are very tired of the Democrats bitching at each other
The two infrastructure bills will get done but voting rights, gun control and George Floyd won’t
I see all the enthusiasm on the side of the Republicans

 

That’s not anything like what I am saying but okay.

 

He would stiff his lawyers anyway. What he has left as counsel is almost certainly working pro bono.
