But we're still waiting for "the greatest health care." Easy to undo something, but what's there to replace it?

    stop running weak candidates
every person from the Clinton machine needs to be swept out like four-weeks-old fridge leftovers
same thing I tell them every time they call unsolicited and ask me for money

Damn! I just spent more than that on groceries. I should have run for office.

He complains about the homeless but offers no solutions, except, perhaps, making being homeless suck even more than it already does. How exactly, would that work?

Nobody is in that situation because they want to be homeless. Hell, I'm pretty sure at some point before I die I will be homeless. I'd like to have a fighting chance of avoiding it or if it does get to that point, being able to get back on my feet. His trickle-down pull-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps shit won't give me that chance.

GOP is spending an exorbitant amount of cash to get votes.

McAuliffe's comments about parents and education was his "deplorables" moment. There were a bunch of suburban white women in Virginia who simply didn't want to vote for Trump but had no issue with going with Youngkin. That actually should be the cautionary tale for Rs as they look toward 2024. Trump remains toxic.

Maybe the lesson they'll take is "we don't need him on the ballot to win at all."

Some of this is the responsibility of the base too. McAullife had plenty of competition in the primary and cruised home. Hell he won well over 50 percent of the black primary vote running against two black candidates. Don’t blow off your chance for change and then whine about being “uninspired.”

I also think the New Jersey results prove this was more than a bad candidate in one race.
