Garland needs to go. We are approaching the year mark of the Four Seasons press conference. Gaetz is talking about using explosives on metal detectors. It doesn't make Garland a terrible person or a moron, just the wrong one for the job. As Jim Zorn was, or any large number of people who were shown to be inadequate in the positions in which they were hired.

There will be so many grounds for appeal of this case, probably by both sides. I hope to hell the Feds have a case in reserve if he's found innocent at the state level. They're gonna screw around and get the riots started again. No way this kid beats federal firearms charges at the least, but you know that if he beats murder and that's all he gets tagged with people are going to be mad as hell about it.

Borderline grounds for a mistrial right there, which only kicks the can down the road.

I saw that Jack the Haircut previously talked about waiting until every legal vote was counted in NJ. With a slight oomph on legal.

    1. Why would there need to be "command centers" at multiple hotels for a mere rally?

    2. I also don't know what you want Garland to do. He is not doing anything on the day to day of any investigation. Hell, folks said last year that Trump was getting pinched in New York before the election. I'm still waiting.

Imagine if you're the AG who fucks up a Trump-related prosecution. You think Terry McAuliffe feels sorry for himself today? Try that times 1,000.

Get the case done right. Don't get the case done first.

    3. The economic package bothers me most. They've had nine months to figure this out. Lots of pussy-footing. Biden should've told everyone April 1 "we are passing what we can by summer." This reminds me of healthcare all over again, except they aren't trying to court any Republicans who allegedly will play ball.

I have yet to see what magic Pelosi and Schumer bring to the table beyond “live in the same communities with donors who contribute a shitpot of cash.” For the sake of optics alone, Democrats need some voices beyond New York and California.

The urban vote and the absentee/mail-in vote are the last figures you get. Of course Murphy was losing in the early count.

Pelosi is good at counting and getting votes. The next D leader should come from outside the Acela Corridor. The only person in the leadership now who fits that bill is Clyburn and he's 81.
