OK, now that's pretty awesome.

 

WarGames coming back for NXT. Guessing it'll be new school vs. old school.

Guess old school would be Gargano, Ciampa, Dunne, O'Reilly and Lumis.

No clue for new school other than it would involve Bron Breakker.

 

Maybe a Team Bronn vs Team Ciampa so they can mix in some olds and news? Do captains and a draft for a fun segment.

there just arent enough credible new guys for team Bronn….. the factions like Diamond Mine and Lagado that could fill it out are heel so that doesnt work

 

Breaker, Xyon Quinn, Josh Briggs, Brook Jensen, Solo Sikoa/Von Wagner. Or they throw in Joe Gacy or Harland or both. Just like Survivor Series, not everyone on a team together has to get along.

 

those guys vs Gargano Ciampa Oreilly and Dunne just isnt a believable fair fight

 

I've been trying to give NXT 2.0 a chance, and it's just very difficult in trying to care about these wrestlers because of all the cuts.

I'd rather they'd have kept NXT as it was, and started a newer brand just for the youngsters. Kinda like having Raw be the American League, Smackdown be the National League, NXT be Triple-A, and the Youth Wrestling Federation tm (YWF) be Class A.

Maybe I'm just getting old.

 

Nope, you’re not old. You just know what NXT was and could’ve been.

NXT has been removed from my DVR recording … even though I like what they’re doing with Toxic Attraction in trying to make them The Beautiful People 2.0. It’s only a matter of time before Ciampa and Gargano are put on an ice float, and KOR bolts for AEW.

Dynamite and Rampage are the only recordings left in my DVR.

 

I mean, the potential of a reunited Cole, O'Reilly and Fish against Omega and the Bucks? How can that not be a hundred kinds of amazing?

 

Quinn has been impressive and could do some crazy stuff in War Games. Sikoa is being built up as a beast. Wagner has already been in a title match. Would it be the best lineup? Not necessarily. But it gives them a chance to build these guys a lot with a good showing in the match.

I don’t know who else they could do it with if they go Old School vs. New School really. There aren’t enough new guys that have established themselves already. This match would be a big part in them doing that if they go that route.

 

Nice touches with Riddle as Rocky Maivia, and Rhea Ripley as fanny pack Dwayne.
