He's changing districts because NC gerrymandered his current district to be rid of him.

How and why did that happen? Trumpists control the state, and he's one of their klan's young heroes.

It’s a relative thing. His current district as redrawn would be R +12 per FiveThirtyEight. The Gastonia-based district he is eyeing would be R +25.

There were a number of things about the Rittenhouse trial that got Twitter going today, but I'm not sure any made as big a ripple as the judge getting a phone call.

The ring tone was Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American". There was much debate whether that was his general purpose ring or the tone for some individual, as well as speculation who that might be and their connection. Twitter can be a silly place.

At this point I half-expect the judge to direct the verdict. Admittedly, the "media narrative" was flawed - do I think Rittenhouse feared for his life? Yes. Much like someone who goes to a zoo with a gun and jumps into the lion pit would fear for their life. You take that kind of weapon, that far, for whatever purpose - you are looking for trouble when nobody invited you.

North Carolina’s extreme new gerrymander, explained

Take a look at the map in this link, and explain how the GOP cult in North Carolina would do anything to slow down the idiocy of Madison Cawthorn.

    I'll hang up and listen.
