The next gen Covid vaccine appears to work on Covid-19, mutant strains and other varieties of Covid, and the common cold.

So will we still hear how they won't take it because it is experimental, a violation of their freedoms, and pollutes their precious bodily fluids, or will they simply take the damn thing? I mean, we're talking about the cure for the common cold here.

Next-gen supercharged COVID-19 vaccines may also target the common cold

We put vitamins in all sorts of food products. Make it a mandatory ingredient in the production of beer, especially if it's tasteless. And by and large, the people refusing to get the vaccine buy tasteless beer.

Our district held two townwide clinics for 5-11-year-olds yesterday. Huge lines. The superintendent sent an email today saying nearly 500 kids were vaccinated. My kids got Covid and flu shots this week.

I just need to go get my flu shot and we're all current

The 22 million number struck me as odd.

There are only 3.5 million or so births a year. Hard to figure how 22 million vaccines could be "overdue" in one year.

We're taking our 9-year-old to get the shot at a big pop-up clinic set up across the street from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It's been going for a couple weeks, the traffic looked Indy 500-like when it first opened. Lots of kids plus you gotta figure in extra time for young'uns who really don't like shots. Like mine.

And a little closer to home, the but muh freedom people protest on the bridge because let's remember the sacrifices of our veterans by protesting ways to keep them safe. Police close one lane out of abundance of caution. Crash happens. Five people—bridge employees and two CHP officers—injured. Great job everyone!

From this morning's NYT newsletter ... was just having this conversation last night at a friend's place, re: at what point do you feel comfortable?
