Still made no sense that she was on the Survivor Series team (until the latest crap with Sonya), but good on Aliyah for finally making her main roster debut. Say what you will, but she toiled away for forever in NXT. I remember she was on that Breaking Ground doc series when she first broke in and got the Aliyah name.

Meanwhile, coming to WrestleMania next year: Sami vs. Scary

    Watching Rampage right now...

Forget the thoughts of O'Reilly or Owens going AEW, or any of the guys they just got...

That a guy the size of Luchasaurus can do something like that so effortlessly is mind-boggling.

For a big surprise debut tonight, Jay Lethal was not the one I was expecting, but that'll be a good addition, and a TNT match with Sammy will be a banger.

Looks like Ali wants to be what Muhammad Hassan was supposed to be before the terrorist undertones.

That was great. But I wouldn't trust the E not to fuck it up. And, rightly or wrongly, that character would make a lot of people feel uncomfortable at a pretty dicey time in the country's history.

Is Rollins' contract like Money in the Bank 2.0?
I don't think they've ever spelled out if there's a specific time or PPV that it's for, or if he gets to use it whenever and wherever he wants.

Remember when Survivor Series was one of WWE's four tent pole PPVs, and not like something they just threw together as if they forgot until the last minute?

Three, four, five years ago when they ran the invasion angles, those were brilliant -- especially that year when NXT was involved, or when Becky got clocked by Nia and became an instant legend.

Austin Theory? Shotzi (no Blackheart) as the heel to Sasha's face? If Pearce is so gung-ho about Raw looking good, why is he also involved with SmackDown's team? And when is he threatening Big E with Lesnar when he just suspended him indefinitely? And they've yanked four people off their spots in one week.

I think Survivor Series has always been a bit overrated, if you look at past years - Usually, it was just Hulk Hogan, and maybe another popular face or two of the time, triumphing in some main event. The most impactful thing that's happened at the event was probably the debut of the Undertaker. That being said, the format always seems to have more potential than they use it for. Other promotions certainly got way more out of the similar Wargames than WWE/WWF ever got out of Survivor Series.

It's been said before by others, but it would help if they tied the Survivor Series main event to placement in the Royal Rumble. It would add meaning to this event and extend out the chain of build up to Wrestlemania by another couple months. It seems so obvious.
