This is already on the movies thread, but it is connected to the MCU through the Vulture's appearance in this and the previous trailer.

I'm still not sold on Morbius carrying a movie.

I agree. I will be waiting until it is streaming somewhere, just as I've done with both Venom movies.

Leto is a heck of a talent who hasn’t really ever been able to carry a big movie despite being relatively well-known since 1999.

I hope he’s able to do it with this one. His Joker kind of bombed, so I’d like to see him have some success as Morbius.

Mrs. OOP and I saw Eternals this afternoon. She was totally lost. I didn't think it was bad, but the plot is a bit of a mess, though with a somewhat satisfying resolution. It certainly has a different approach and feel from many of the other MCU movies. In parts of the movie, that is a good thing, but sometimes it feels slow.

Of course, there are post-credits scenes. One, which was partially spoiled all over the place before the movie came out, is in the middle. The one at the end is better, but it will probably leave people who aren't fans of the comics scratching their heads.

I'm gonna see it with my son, but the reviews have been tepid. Seems to be a lot of "Why hire Chloe Zhao if you're gonna MCU her?" going around.

    It’s fine. Forgettable entertainment.

The love story of the Marvel Universe.

And the Marvel Universe just gained millions upon millions of fans.

How did we get to the point that a trailer being released is a big deal? The second trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home is expected tomorrow night, but I've been reading rumors about it for weeks. I get that part of it is concern that the release of the movie could be delayed, but I would think Marvel would have done that by now.

Yup, and it isn't the first time there have been teasers for trailers.

Build hype. People dig it. I mean, play to your market.

Is it silly, sure. But I saw plenty of excited people on social media about it yesterday.
