Wrong enough he's on trial for it. He might be exonerated of that wrong on the basis of self-defense.

 

Not so much that rather Rosenbaum getting shot and killed.

You more than anyone know how fucking cuckoo crazy life is ... how cuckoo crazy coincidence is ... there are no small coincidences or big coincidences! ... I mean, here's a convicted child rapist ... you know, who just fucking happens to be at this crazy riotous scene ... being a fucking rioter ... like a fucking asshole ... and finds himself face to face with a gun-toting teen ... not just any gun but an AR-15! ... who defends himself and blows the child rapist to smithereens ... I don't believe in God -- anyone who does is cuckoo <hugs, I still love you> -- but maybe just maybe this God that people talk about in such reverential terms wanted Joseph Rosenbaum the child rapist to get blown away at this exact moment in time. Coincidence, yo.

Rittenhouse is on trial, not Rosenbum. I wish the civil concept of "assumption of risk" was at play here. Rittenhouse and his mother sought this out.

Life is nuts. People can floor you with the beautiful ways they can be towards each other and they can also suck mightily. Theist me luvs ya, too, Bubba.

Spend some time in a peds/ado trauma unit and get back to me on that. I wish I didn't feel this way about kiddy diddlers. Maybe at some point, I'll exhale and this won't turn me into a raging bitch. Not likely to happen. I figure I'll sleep when I'm dead. If it's any consolation, I don't trust our judicial system to make the right call, guilty or not, so it's best for me to stay angry and out of the way and write cat jokes.

He killed two people. Anybody got an ex post facto justification they want to trot out for the other guy deserving to die?

 

It's not impossible that Kyle Rittenhouse is an instrument of G-d's vengeance. Maybe!

So what did the other victim do to deserve to die? And what transgressions did the third victim commit to get wounded - but not killed?

 

Been wanting to answer for a few hours.

What did they do? They put themselves in a situation to be shot and killed and shot and have most of an arm blown off.

This isn't all on Rittenhouse. That's why I've been pretty flippant the last few pages. They're all fucking assholes.

Inky, you have a S.O. (or wife) and kid(s), right? Would you have gone out and rioted in a mad place where curfew was in effect?

 

Two men convicted of killing Malcolm X will be exonerated. Crazy story and I recommend the Netflix documentary talked about in the article, its very well done.
