How long would a guy be employed, in any other workplace, after Tweeting a video of him murdering a female coworker?

This is a party where the President and his cronies threatened and carried out a barrage of retaliatory attacks against whistleblowers. In a real workplace, if that happened, your accountants would tell you that you need to reserve millions of dollars in a lawsuit. Instead it has become a heroic act for the GOP.

I've heard talk radio hosts, including one in Boston who calls himself "the voice of reason" mocking the old practice of Congressmen referring to each other as "esteemed colleagues" and "my good friend from across the aisle" as being phony or insincere, as if we'd get better government if they were at each other's throats.

Another Republican I know said he didn't vote for his Congressman to make friends. He voted for him to fight for him and if it ruffled a few feathers, too bad.

I guess the shit Gossar pulled is the inevitable consequences of that attitude.

I left the room after the GQC's main argument seemed to be "But freedumb!" Did they not pay attention to the content?

Matt apparently still buys Archie Comics so he has reading material in bed. I'd be willing to bet he has a thing for Reggie.

Who was the Profile In Courage who voted present instead of yea or nay?

I'm 100 percent certain the Rittenhouse judge is going to give him the Proud Boys hand gesture when this ends.

I'm about to the point that I hear "woke" as racist hate speech. It used to mean standing up against racism, overt or systemic. Then it mutated into awareness of others, and in great part, fairness and not putting up with racist language. Now anything that the left does that the GQP disapproves of is "woke", an empty gesture and rhetoric from "the SJWs'. And all of that gets tied to a black expression that was appropriated by the left and is now wielded like a club by the Tucker Carlson's of the world.

Politeness, professionalism and serving for something greater than yourself/your party is always tenuous. That bridge was basically permanently burned by Gingrich, continued by Mitch and basically signed into law by Trump.

Jim Acosta just called Gosar "the nuttiest of GOP fruitcakes."

    +1
