What evidence do you have they were rioting? I mean physically rioting - not just there while it was happening.

But, no, I wouldn’t have been there. I’m also a middle-aged white guy, so I usually am home, lounging in some soccer shorts and a ratty tee, by 9 pm.

Also, as the owner of SJ’s largest firearm collection, I damn sure wouldn’t drive over to a protest in a neighboring town - all cocked and locked - to hang out with militias. And I damn sure wouldn’t let my kid do it either. The mother failed in her duty.

Well, the prosecutor mentioned a few things Rosenbaum did that sound an awful lot like physically rioting.

If that behavior is justification for somebody shooting another person, then college towns would have bodies stacked like cordwood after national championship wins.

 

Military was justified in killing Kent State students.

 

Your question is moot. People went. People got shot and died.

Put yourself in that situation and you get what you deserve.

 

So felony vandalism carries a death sentence?

 

Here's the problem with the 'gets what he deserves for just showing up' formulation in this case.

Rittenhouse showed up and killed a couple people. Under whatever blanket of self-defense. And almost certainly won't get what he deserves for doing so.
