So, the esteemed gentleman from Louisiana is really Clay Shaw?

For real, does John Kennedy have an upper set of teeth? Have been unable to confirm video evidence that he does.
If that's part of this Foghorn Leghorn act he's been running, then please drive through.

    The GOP wants revenge for:
--Dems impeaching a president who a) tried to dragoon a foreign leader into helping him win an election and then b) incited a deadly riot in order to overturn an election he lost
--Censuring a Congressman for tweeting out a video in which he kills a (current) female Representative

One wonders what kind of revenge these psychos would seek if the Dems.....did the things the Republicans actually did.

And so much anger from a party which
--can win the White House with less than 47 percent of the vote
--can win the majority of the senate with tens of million fewer votes than the other party
--can gerrymander their way to victory
--can beat an endless array of wonky opponents without offering a single plausible solution to problems voters claim to care about
-- luxuriates in an unrepresentative federal judiciary that is dominated by their party etc.
--pays no long-term price for pretty much anything

In America now, the greatest offense is trying to hold right-winners accountable. Even greater than C...R....T.

So they'd impeach Joe Biden and he'd be acquitted by the Senate. So what? One reason Presidential impeachments have never succeeded in American history is that they are unpopular. Voters see it as infringing on their power to throw the bums out and resent it.

What makes you think an overwhelmingly Republican Congress won't just go straight to imprisonment of Biden and Co?

Is that really too far-fetched in light of what we're learning about Jan. 6?

It takes 67 of 100 Senators to impeach. There are currently 50 Democratic Senators. 34 of them are not on the ballot in 2022, plus the two independents, Bernie and Angus King of Maine, who caucus with the party. The votes aren't there, no matter how badly the elections for the Democrats next year.

I don't disagree; I'm just not completely convinced Republicans see impeachment as their only tool for removal of Biden and Harris and the naming of Speaker McCarthy as President.

A Jan. 6-type event is going to happen again, sooner rather than later, probably at a statehouse in a place like Pennsylvania or Wisconsin or even at a City Hall in a blue patch of a red state. And this time there will be guns. Maybe after people see footage of the carnage, and (I hope) how quickly it’ll be put down by some real cops, they’ll be awoken to how batshit these folks are. I’m not holding my breath.
