I thought that once you got past the rough opener, monologue and weird royalty sketch, this was the best show of the year, which is odd to type out. "The first 20 minutes suck, but then, wow!" The not-digital-short was funny, I like Taylor Swift and musicians doing weird stuff on SNL, Weekend Update had two great "guests," and the dog park for dudes was great.

Cold open was fun. Glad they brought back Moffatt and Day as Bert and Ernie from the Oscar/Joker film a few years ago.

Love to see the two feature players get to star on Update. Aristotle's robot comic was great with how he mimic'ed the robot tone.

Thought the Ad Awards was pretty good. Man Park dead on.
If you go out with Taylor Swift and breakup is it better or worse that she doesn't write a song about you? Better or worse if the song is a hit?

If you go out with Taylor Swift, you’re in a much higher tax bracket than me. Sing away, girl.

I think you want the song written, because then you know you were important to her. But you don't want it to be a hit because then people will wonder who the dumbass was (and you will be seen as the dumbass, Taylor's always gonna win).

Seriously, how many songs has she written about failed relationships? Seems to me there’s a common factor in every one: Taylor.

    Maybe take a hint, Tay-Tay.

LOL at Judge Jeanine referring to Biden's colonoscopy as "socialized buttplay paid for by your tax dollars."

Last night marked a historical moment in my journey to old age and thus cultural irrelevance: for the first time I had never heard of the host nor the musical guest.

Only halfway through, but this is another strong show, between the dog sketch, Target Thanksgiving commercial, Republican game show, bad karaoke.

That dog sketch had me rolling - usually that kind of weirdness is reserved for the last sketch of the night. And it had a killer tag line - "Oh, China is doing this? Get me 1,000."
